Exciting news for 2020, on 7th February, we’ll be launching the first-ever Greater Manchester Digital Day #GMDigitalDay.
#GMDigitalDay will inspire and encourage young people in schools and colleges all across Greater Manchester to have a go at learning digital skills, challenge themselves and explore the career opportunities available to them as future technologists. All schools and colleges are encouraged to ‘do something digital’ on this day.
Help us create a buzz and excitement about all things digital by providing a resource or activity for students to use on GM Digital Day. Manchester Digital will help you develop a resource which will be available to schools on GM Digital Day and for years to come. Help us showcase the variety of applications of digital and technology and get students excited about joining Greater Manchester’s thriving tech ecosystem in the future. You could help use digital in every lesson from English and Geography to setting a real life computer science task. There are so many different ways you can get involved, no matter the size of your company. All you need is an idea.
Schools & colleges
Join in and do something digital. Industry representatives will be creating engaging live briefs for schools to get stuck into across all subjects, and student researchers will be invited to document the day. GM Digital Day will showcase the wide variety of applications of digital and technology and help to prepare students for their future which will undoubtedly involve digital.
