Skills Audit 2023

The Digital Skills Audit for 2023 is now open!  If you’re a business or individual working in the Digital and Tech sector, then we need your help.

The Digital Skills Audit provides us with important information on the sector, the people working in it and the future skills demands that are emerging. This helps us continue the work we do with education and industry to continue to support the ecosystem to be more progressive, inclusive and diverse.

It takes around 20 minutes to complete and you can respond either on behalf of your business or as an individual working in the sector.

Policy- Forming Research

The Manchester Digital Skills Audit is an annual audit of over 250 digital and technology businesses.

This important piece of research is used by businesses, policymakers and other regional and national stakeholders to understand which issues need to be prioritised and addressed as well as identifying any new or emerging trends.

Why is the Digital Skills Audit important?

This body of research has been the catalyst behind many of the region’s industry-led endeavours to help address the skills shortage and over the last 12 months, with private and public sector support, we have significantly grown the number of programmes that we run and tripled the volume of schools, colleges and educators we have been able to support.

The findings will be announced at the Skills Festival Conference on 6th February 2023.
