Manchester Digital have announced the return of their annual Digital Skills Festival in 2023 for another eventful week that connects future talent, educators and businesses. Having run for more than a decade, the Digital Skills Festival is designed to bring together tech and digital businesses with new recruits, graduates, apprentices and career changers. There are opportunities for businesses across the North West to meet potential new candidates face to face, as well as taking part in panels, presentations and talks. If you would be interested in sponsoring the event, please email lydia@manchesterdigital.com.
Manchester Digital is the voice of Greater Manchester’s tech and digital sector.
The annual Digital Skills Festival uses that voice to bring the industry together to grow our tech talent, look at different pathways into the industry and how we can all work together to succeed.
Our 2023 event is back and bigger than ever to showcase the huge wealth and breadth of jobs within the tech industry, as well as bringing the industry together to look at developing skills and talent and how we continue to grow the tech industry across the region.
The Festival 6th – 10th February 2023
The Digital Skills Festival brings together employers, job seekers, career changers, as well as schools and colleges for a week-long celebration of the North West’s tech industry.
The week-long programme of events includes industry insights and professional development seminars; keynote speakers as well as an opportunity to meet and recruit new talent looking to break into the industry.
Katie Gallagher, MD of Manchester Digital, said: “Our 2023 Digital Skills Festival is a celebration of the digital and tech industry and all that it offers in terms of careers and opportunities.
“The week-long event also showcases tech apprenticeships – now a rapidly developing and respected pathway into the tech industry for both young people and career changers, enabling employers to increase diversity into their workforce.
“Despite the economic and political turbulence, plus the cost of living crisis, the tech and digital industry is still booming and struggling to fill roles they desperately need to grow. Our mission as the leading tech industry body for the North West is to support the industry and business growth, and this flagship event is one of the ways we do this.”
