Each February, Greater Manchester’s vibrant digital and tech sector takes centre stage as Manchester Digital hosts the Digital Skills Festival – a week long celebration of the sector, its businesses and people.
With opportunities to get involved for organisations, educators, tech professionals and those hoping to break into the industry, the festival welcomes all as we celebrate the region’s successes, address the challenges we are facing and forge lasting connections.
Digital Skills Festival 2025 is was our most ambitious yet, and what a week it was!
We brought Greater Manchester’s tech community together for a vibrant week of collaboration, innovation and inspiration. With a bold new look and five major events across the city, this year’s festival highlighted the strength of our region’s digital ecosystem, and the power of partnership in driving it forward.
From launching with HackaFuture, an open pathways hackathon with headline sponsor AtkinsRéalis, to closing with a powerful leaders’ evening with Slalom, Digital Skills Feast, at the Science and Industry Museum, the week celebrated skills, people and opportunity at every level.
We welcomed thousands of attendees across the week, with key events being Talent Day, Digital Her Day, and the Future Innovators Challenge Final. We saw meaningful outcomes created on the spot, including permanent job offers, new partnerships, and career-defining connections.
Thank you to all of our sponsors, partners, speakers and attendees for making the 2025 Festival so impactful. Planning for 2026 is already underway; we’d love to hear from you if you’re interested in getting involved.
