Tom Stables

Tom is a Lecturer in Digital Marketing at the University of Lancashire, designing and delivering modules across Consumer Psychology and Neuromarketing, Marketing and Business Strategy, Marketing Management, Data Analysis, and Relationship Marketing. His teaching blends critical thinking with commercial awareness to prepare students for a fast-moving digital world.

Before academia, he spent close to two decades in industry, including over ten years as Co-owner and Creative Director at 3manfactory, where he built brands, led campaigns, and shaped digital strategies that connected with audiences. That experience now brings commercial relevance and lived insight to his teaching.

He is also a Doctoral Researcher in AI and pedagogy, has completed a PGCert in Academic Practice, and contributes to the University’s AI Working Group, supporting the responsible embedding of emerging technologies across teaching and learning. His work sits at the intersection of AI, marketing, and education, including an AI-driven business project focused on storytelling, memory, and creative communication.
