Manchester's Digital Strategy celebrates our digital ecosystem - that's why we’re excited to support the festival again in 2024 as digital skills are the foundation of our future workforce economy. The festival provides a great opportunity for people to learn about the digital skills they need to succeed, and for businesses to connect with the talented people in our city. - Cllr John Hacking, Executive Member for Skills, Employment and Leisure
Manchester's Digital Strategy: Doing Digital Together aims to make Manchester a world-class digital city by 2026. It focuses on four key areas: digital skills, future-proofed infrastructure, a thriving digital economy, and a digitally enabled transition to a sustainable and resilient city. Digital skills are essential for everyone, as digital supports access to key services and opens the door to new businesses and opportunities. To make the Strategy a reality, Manchester City Council has created a small and ambitious Digital Strategy team to coordinate delivery – email the team to find out more: email@example.com.
